Raa Middle School Cheerleading Tryouts |
 Practices for cheerleading tryouts for the 2010-11 school year will be held Monday, April 12th through Wednesday, April 14th, from 4:15-5:30. Tryouts will be on Thursday, April 15th, after school at 4:15. | | "The Making of Heroes" Dinner Theater |
 Raa's annual dinner theater featuring FSU and TCC. Raa partnership programs will use this occasion to horor our military heroes, both currently serving and service veterans. Students encouraged to nominate family members. Nominees will receive special recognition at the event. Nomination forms are available in the front office at Raa and must be turned in with all necessary information by March 19th. This is an opportunity to pay tribute to those who have served and are serving our country. Ticket prices are $5 bleacher seats, $25 dinner tickets ($20 for service members), $300 for a table of eight. Tickets go on sale in the front office at Raa on April 5th. This is expected to be a "sold out" event! Please join us! | | 5th Grade Articulation |
 Rising 5th graders will have an opportunity to visit Raa Middle School on April 26th from 9:45 - 11:00. Students and parents are invited to attend. Raa "feeder" schools will bus in the 5th graders....all others who would like to attend will need to provide their own transportation here. Students and parents will meet in the gym for an overview with Mrs. Callaway (Principal) and then take a tour around the campus before leaving.

ATTENTION 8TH GRADE PARENTS:
Students are currently signing up for Bus and Room List. Make sure you sign up in time!
Well, we have made it through the first and second nine weeks! Students are doing a marvelous job maintaining the eligibility requirements for the 2010 Washington DC trip. Remember, the requirements are
1. no more than two 2's for the 1st-3rd quarter
2. no 1's in citizenship for the 1st-3rd quarter
3 2.0 minimum cumulative GPA for the 1st-3rd quarter
Please monitor your child's report cards and progress reports to check their eligibility. If you have any concerns or questions please contact Mrs. Goodwin or Mr. Fernandez immediately. | | Parent Volunteers |  We need parent volunteers in the main office throughout the school year.
